The results show that the oxygen content of the zirconium base material and the weld area increased slightly with time, but at a slower rate, causing no deterioration in the mechanical properties of zirconium. In contrast, the hydrogen content gradually decreases in this medium corrosion, which can reduce the brittleness and is beneficial to zirconium, and the annual corrosion rate is only 0.024-0.04 mm/a.
